Usability Study of the Student Policy Handbook

Every year I would update the Graduate Student Policy Handbook that was administered to incoming graduate students at the University of Denver (DU). As I was going through updates in 2018 I anticipated that there were ways that we could enhance the navigation and overall usability of the handbook. Therefore, I worked with the Web Services team at DU to create trackable campaign links so I could analyze user behavior. I gathered data over the course of two years, analyzed the metrics, and synthesized my findings and insights into an internal report for the director of the Student Services team. The outcome of this effort resulted in a revised handbook and new delivery model for policy-related information.
